Women Like Us, a careers advisory service for women with young children, were launching a new recruitment division and required the development of a new brand identity.
Timewise Recruitment focusses on finding candidates flexible job roles that fit in with their busy lifestyles.

The challenges

Timewise Recruitment required the creation of a complete brand identity including logo, brand guidelines, website and printed materials to include business cards, leaflets, compliment slips and promotional items.

The new brand needed to appeal to candidates of all ages and backgrounds.

Our creative strategy

Our initial research identified the colour purple as ideal for the branding as it would lend itself to the target audience, without being seen as overly feminine. It would also be a unique colour within the marketplace, meaning Timewise would stand out amongst their competition.

Further to this we focused on the brand name and concept of flexible working hours giving candidates more time to spend with family etc., and the idea of using the dandelion as part of the branding was formed. Using a dandelion clock is a children’s tradition where-by blowing away the dandelion seeds signifies the time.

What did we create?

Utilising the colour purple and dandelion concept we developed the brand logo and a full set of brand guidelines for print and online. From this we then created the artwork for stationary and promotional items.

Finally we created online advertisements and video stings to support the launch. A responsive website was designed and built to provide guidance to employers and employees on all matters related to offering and finding flexible jobs.

Founding Director, Karen Mattison said of the project:

We are delighted with Plus Two’s brand design ideas. Really fresh, innovative work, and bang on brief first time. The team listened carefully and interpreted our needs intelligently.
They quickly understood a very complex brief and gave us excellent creative work.
