    With this plug-in for FireFox you can see if the website your looking at is serious competition. At a glance you can quickly see page rank, page index, links, incoming links, Alexa rank and keyword density.

    This is another plug-in for FireFox which while less intrusive that SEOquake offers up similar functionality.You are quickly able to see Google page rank and Alexa rating.   • Google Adwords keyword search
    This is a very useful way to identify keywords which will drive traffic to your site from Google. In general low competition keywords are cheaper for PPC but also easier targets when aiming to achieve good natural search results.As a rough guide – look for 2 to 3 word keywords that your customers would be using to find you, ones which have low competition and over 1000 searches per month.
